The PC2400 programmer's DIP ZIF socket can be fitted with a new HDMI programming adaptor for reading / programming the 2K eeprom behind each HDMI socket on modern TV sets.
The HDMI adaptor is fitted with a standard HDMI socket. A standard HDMI - HDMI lead (not supplied with the adaptor) can then be used to read / program the TV set.
The inset photo shows the adaptor fitted to a PC2400 programmer. Although primarily designed for use in the PC2400, the adaptor can be used in some other programmers.
The PC2400 is a USB programmer for 24CXX type eeproms either as components or in a TV set. It can also be used as a general purpose 'In system' - ISP or 'In circuit' - ICP programmer.
